Hello, I have recently purchase a 75 year old adobe house in the New Mexico mountains. I want to sand blast the existing wood that has been previously painted. Is it possible for me to rent the machine and sanblast the wood myself and what material or machine would be best suited for this job? The next question I have is, what would be a fair cost to pay for this project?
Thank you so much for your response.

Just bought a 150lb ALC blasting machine. It comes with 1/8" and 5/32" ceramic tips. The air compressor I have is an 80 gal. tank, 29.5 cfm at 90 psi. Is this compressor big enough to run this machine properly using the provided ceramic tips?

Hi I own a ALC sandblast pot Model F-65DS. I need the grit valve that is on the bottom of pot. The type on the pot is the remote air controled type. Stamped in the valve is ITT DIA FLO MP 36 3/4" (Pipe threads)
Do you have this valve?
Thanks
Greg

Is sandblasting safe for an older building whose walls have recently been patched up to stop water leakage in apartments, such as mine, during heavy rains?
Thank you.
